You Tube has been an excellent source for my daughter to find new items to make for her dolls.


American Girl Doll size postcard. Well of course, dolls need to send other dolls postcards. Perfect for old Christmas cards. Have your daughter "send" all of her friends dolls holiday cards


And making a winter hat out of a glove.

Holiday Gifts

Have you started buying your gifts for the holidays yet? Most of the moms I know have. Either because they don't want to find items sold out, or they don't want their December credit card to be insane.

All the girls in our neighborhood are still ga-ga over their dolls. And so I went through the Emily Rose Doll Clothes with several of the girls to hear what THEY would like for Christmas (it's like a tiny market research group these girls).

Oh the joys of shoes

I love shoes. I have, obviously, passed this wonderful gene onto my daughter. She, in turn, has now passed the show love onto her 18" dolls.

Leopard Bow Shoes. This are cute on screen. They are SOOOOOOOOOO cute in person. I would like to enlarge these for my feet.


We have these shoes in red, pink and black. Just like our real little girl. 'Cause heaven forbid her and her dolls don't match.


I have been eyeing similar shoes as these for me (but not in pink) for years. I am happy that the dolls got the shoes and enjoy the comfort before I do.


Ahhh the Sparkly Dorothy Shoes. An annual favorite at our house. Bless Target's heart for carrying the girl size of this shoe year after year.
